This first podcast is pretty much just a test. Let’s see if I got this baby set up right. If I did, the podcast should soon show up in iTunes, you should be able to subscribe using any of the services in the sidebar to the right, and there should be an audio clip embedded in this post. If any of those things isn’t true for you, please leave a comment or contact me using the link just under the photo in the sidebar.
If you’re looking for my interview with Joss Whedon—we talked crafts!—please subscribe to the podcast so you get it as soon as I post it (which should be in the next day or two).
Now for this clip. When we taped the second season of Knitting Daily TV in September, I used my iPhone as a microphone (and it worked surprisingly well). Here’s a chat co-host Eunny and I had with Karen, our makeup artist on the show. We started each day of taping sitting on Karen’s stool; she’s remarkably fun to spend time with in the early morning, and here she tells us a little about doing makeup for television. (Note: I said Annie [Bakken] is a producer; she joked that she just got a pay raise because her exact title is “segment producer”. My bad.)
If you enjoy the clip and/or want to spread the word about what might become a somewhat sporadic podcast, feel free to use the player in the sidebar or at the bottom of this post to add this clip in your blog or on your favourite social site.
